GT5 is now over : What happened during that turn ?
One more Italian airfields have been constructed. Three levels of fortifications as well.
Reminder for Malta GT5, the Italians weren't allowed to go to there. And the British didn't sunk any cargo.
On GT5/1, the British reorganized, equipped the 4th Ind Div with trucks and put replacements into the 7th Arm Div.
The Italians sent two waves of bombers to Alexandria Flying boat basin on GT5 / 1 and 2 and went for the Sunderland. During two Op's stages they destroyed the Flying boat basin and 3 Sund as well. On that two raids, the British lost one Glad fighter with a 2*pilot and the Italians one Ca 309.
On GT5/2, the British playing 2nd, 7th Arm and 4th Ind div now motorized attacked again The 4CCNN. The Italians destroyed 2* Mk VI light and one A10 to anti-tank fire. They pinned down one Inf battalion and the British destroyed not tank as they choose to pin that battalion. Assault went on. On cohesion the British remained to +1 to their morale and the Italians took +1 on their. Result of the assault was 0 % loss for the British and 0% loss for the Italians (unbelievable). But the Italians had to retreat 2 hexes. Unwilling to do so for the supply dump, they took 20% loss with 75 % of that captured. The British captured 5 Inf and 1*18/25 gun.
The 2nd NZ Div and the 16th Inf Brigade attacked the 4 CCNN, both took 10 % loss with no captured on either side.
That put an end of GT5/2.
On GT5/3, the Italians attacked form the air the 7th Arm Div and pinned down all Inf unit plus one Arm unit. In doing so another attack by the British was not possible. They strafed in four waves of fighters the 4th Ind Div, each wave to one Inf battalion. Each time the Ind loose 1*Inf and 1*Truck. They attacked as well the 2nd NZ Div, pinning down all three Inf battalions and strafing one which took an 2*Inf loss and 2* Truck loss. So the attack on the 1 CCNN was not possible with only the 16 Inf Brigade.
For GT6, Malta : British weren't allowed to put a recon to any Italian convoy so they all reach African ports unmolested. The Italians drew a 6 to the dices and decided to abort the bombing on Malta.
